Nouveau Clown Solo Show
This Artist Residency is an innovative project aimed at identifying, engaging, and training the most promising young comedy minds in the area. The main purpose of the residency is to create a high-quality silent comedy show featuring a solo artist, while young creators actively participate in the creation of gags and comedy situations.
During the residency, an internationally renowned comedy artist will serve as the mentor for the participants and guide them in creating gags, comedy writing, and developing material for the show. The artist will share their experiences, provide valuable advice, and offer creative support.
The selection process for young comedy minds will involve open auditions at the local level, publicized in collaboration with acting schools, cultural associations, and youth centers.
Applications from talented and passionate young individuals with a comedy inclination will be encouraged, regardless of their training or artistic background. Efforts will be made to ensure diversity in comedy styles and perspectives, in order to create a rich and representative show.
The artist residency will span 50 days, during which the artist and the comedy minds will work to create and refine comedy material.
The first performance of the solo artist’s show will take place at the Finc Comedy Festival, one of the country’s most prestigious comedy festivals.
Subsequently, two European festivals that are partners of the project will host the solo artist’s show.
The aim is to promote comedy as an art form, to develop the artist career at an European level and support young talents in their growth.
It is hoped that this experience will open minds and create social and cultural opportunities for the participants.

Questa Residenza Artistica è un progetto innovativo volto a identificare, coinvolgere e formare le giovani menti comiche più promettenti della zona. Lo scopo principale della residenza è creare uno spettacolo comico essenzialmente muto, di alta qualità con un artista solista di già avviata carriera , mentre i giovani creatori partecipano attivamente alla creazione di gag e situazioni comiche.
Durante la residenza, un artista comico di fama internazionale fungerà da mentore per i partecipanti, guidandoli nella creazione di gag, nella scrittura comica e nello sviluppo del materiale per lo spettacolo. L’artista condividerà le proprie esperienze, fornirà preziosi consigli e offrirà supporto creativo.
Il processo di selezione delle giovani menti comiche prevede audizioni aperte a livello locale, pubblicizzate in collaborazione con scuole di recitazione, associazioni culturali e centri giovanili. Verranno incoraggiate le candidature di giovani talentuosi e appassionati di comicità, indipendentemente dalla loro formazione o background artistico. Si cercherà di garantire una diversità di stili comici e punti di vista, al fine di creare uno spettacolo ricco e rappresentativo.
La residenza artistica avrà una durata di 50 giorni, durante i quali l’artista e le menti comiche scelte lavoreranno per creare e perfezionare il materiale comico.
La prima dello spettacolo sarà presentata al Finc Comedy Festival, uno dei festival comici più prestigiosi del paese.
Successivamente, si procederà a far girare lo spettacolo nei due festival europei partner del progetto.
L’obiettivo è promuovere la comicità come forma d’arte, sviluppare la carriera dell’artista coinvolta a livello Europeo e sostenere i giovani talenti al confronto con realtà internazionali.
Si spera che questa esperienza possa aprire nuove opportunità e creare connessioni sociali anche per le giovani menti comiche.
